{"id":9661,"date":"2023-06-04T17:31:46","date_gmt":"2023-06-04T14:31:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/alssabiqun.com\/?p=9661"},"modified":"2023-06-04T17:31:46","modified_gmt":"2023-06-04T14:31:46","slug":"indias-bharti-airtel-beats-q3-revenue-view-on-rise-in-4g-users","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/alssabiqun.com\/?p=9661","title":{"rendered":"India&apos;s Bharti Airtel beats Q3 revenue view on rise in 4G users"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">BENGALURU, Feb 7 (Reuters) &#8211; Bharti Airtel Ltd , India&#8217;s No.2 telecom carrier by subscribers,  <a href=\"https:\/\/evigetir.com\/evden-eve-google.html\">eV<\/a> reported a bigger-than-expected increase in third-quarter revenue on Tuesday, helped by 4G subscriber additions and higher revenue per user.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cambridge.org\/br\/academic\/subjects\/politics-international-relations\/political-theory\/fear-enemies-and-collective-action?format=AR\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/evigetir.com\/evdeneve\/img\/a2.png\" style=\"max-width:450px;float:left;padding:10px 10px 10px 0px;border:0px;\"><\/a> <\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">The company&#8217;s consolidated revenue from operations rose to 358.04 billion rupees ($4.33 billion) for the three months ended Dec.31, from 298.67 billion rupees a year earlier.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Analysts, on average, had expected 357.27 billion rupees in revenue, according to Refinitiv IBES data.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Airtel said revenue from its India mobile services, which has about 332.24 million subscribers as of the December quarter,  <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gedankengut.one\/index.php?title=Alphabet_Shares_Dive_After_Google_AI_Chatbot_Bard_Flubs_Answer_In_Ad\">E<\/a> rose 20.8% to 193.53 billion rupees.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Its 4G data customers, too, increased by 6.4 million to hit 216.72 million.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.robinsfyi.com\/animals\/animalsodd.htm\">Airtel&#8217;s average<\/a> revenue per user (ARPU),  <a href=\"https:\/\/evigetir.com\/ee.html\">vE<\/a> a key performance indicator for telecom firms, was at 193 rupees, logging a 1.6% sequential rise and an 18.4% year-on-year increase.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Last month, market leader Reliance Jio, the telecom arm of conglomerate Reliance Industries, said its third-quarter ARPU stood at 178.2 rupees per subscriber per month, an increase of only 0.6% from a quarter ago and  <a href=\"https:\/\/evigetir.com\/hassasnakliye.html\">n E<\/a> a 17.5% climb from a year ago.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Airtel added that mobile data consumption surged by 22.5% to 20.3 GB of usage per customer per month.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">The company&#8217;s net profit for the December quarter climbed to 15.88 billion rupees from 8.3 billion rupees a year ago.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Airtel shares closed 0.4% lower at 785.9 rupees ahead of the results.They had fallen 5.
